An Experimental Winter Session
Unique opportunities for Notre Dame students
The Winter Session was a suite of engaging opportunities between the end of the Fall 2020 semester and the beginning of the Spring 2021 semester.
The Winter Session capitalized on the 2020-21 extended winter break to provide meaningful engagement opportunities for Notre Dame students to nurture the formation of mind, body, and spirit.
Offerings included career development and professional growth workshops and projects, career counseling, skill building sessions, mentorships, virtual experiential co-curricular community service, research experiences, and a modest number of short online courses taught by Notre Dame faculty.

Online Courses
Courses designed to inspire our students to think more deeply and to explore the unexpected.

Supervised Research Experiences
Students developed skills and confidence, created networks, built their resumes, and prepared for graduate school through both virtual and in-person research experiences.

Career and Professional Development
Hundreds of opportunities benefitted thousands of students.

Community Engagement
Community organizations across South Bend and the nation were able to collaborate with Notre Dame students through remote service, research, and faith activities through the Center for Social Concerns, Robinson Community Learning Center, and other valued partners.
